For a while I couldn't think of anything to fit, other than the epithet in your guess 4...but I assumed it wouldn't be accepted, so didn't play it. As far as I know, it has no other meaning so not sure why it's acceptable. At least we know that it (and other racial slurs?) may well be an answer one day!

I had a 4 yesterday (Sun) & actually remembered that a word had already been used, but put it in anyway. It helped!
What I did check after, was how many words are in the 'Wordle' dictionary. Just over 2000 apparently. I've played at least 736 games. I had to clear my cache once as I couldn't login here. So we're about halfway through. At some point words are going to have to be repeated. Myself, @Flounce & @Zeberdi will be victorious then (maybe)
