I almost exclusively use the same word every day, very similar to yours! Weirdly for some reason earlier this week I used a different starting word and scored a 2!!!

I think many of us do use the same word each day and only change it if it comes up - or is a useless choice in the first place

These days, I always use the same word until it comes up as a solution. By the way, STARE has already come up so you might to choose something different. Totally legit to have a look at a past answers list to help choose your starter word
