Also, in years to come, if any of you youngsters turn into old gits (like me) and look back through history, you'll be able to pick out some of these games and bore the young NSC's of that day with tales of heroism!

I'd take a relegation battle EVEN if it means us going down over a boring season in mid-table. Football is about meaningful matches, excitement, tension, and highs and lows. I'd rather go down and come back up than sit in the middle of league one for five years.

Definitely. I love football because it is a completely unscripted drama - highs AND lows, and the more drama the better for me. Imagine being a Rochdale fan.

I am sooo excited now there is a chance to survive, kinda got a feeling we will lose on tuesday and sat however we will beat stockport on the last day and stay up any points tues/sat gained will be extra. Bring it on ............
ps. that does not mean this is what i wanted an end of season battle to survive, but i thought adams had fecked us.Now slade has been given a bit of time it seems to be working.

its lush in a strange way, i would like to add i so hope you stay up and carlisle and hartlepool/crewe sink, next season could be cracking with you and the cobblers joined by brentford//exeter/wycombe/charlton/norwich/southampton and possibly gills or dagenham, proper southern division.
