I'm in RH16, and wondered in anyone is having the same problems?

My phone just says..."No access to network" :(

Really annoying because I can't make or recieve calls! :censored:

The most curious thing..
Its official !!!!

Why cant I make a call when my phone has a message saying 'no network' or 'network not found'?

This message means that your phone is not receiving a signal from the Vodafone network.
If there is coverage where you are, but your phone has not picked it up, you can usually re-connect by simply switching your phone off, and then back on.

:laugh::clap2::yahoo::thumbsup:

Yes that's exactly what I did.

I turned it off, then I turned it on again and it worked.

Had this problem all last night. Still doesn't seem to be working properly now. Anyone else still having problems?

I thought mine was OK but I'm having problems again.

Can't dial out or make a text :(

I'm also assuming I can't recieve anything either because I've had no txts or calls for a long time

I'm on Vodafone and have been in BN14 all weekend, no problems!

It happened last weekend though and a restart sorted it out

Apparently 3 & T-Mobile have the best network coverage now. They overtook Vodafone a while back when the two companies started letting each other use their masts. None of them pick signal up in Sheffield Park. What if I wanted to call a friend whilst on the Bluebell Railway? :angry: Magoo out!

My daughter who lives in Yapton spoke to the people at Vodafone about 4pm today. In their words the West Sussex transmitter had been off air since about 6pm on Saturday. The topological layout of the county and the relatively low power emitted by each mast obviously means that coverage can only be achieved through the use of multiple mast sites. For such a large area to be out of service indicates that a piece of equipment feeding many mast sites has failed.
