I can understand your argument about him picking the players and so on, but how can you blame gus if the players underperform? If he has spent the weak training and coaching them to do something, then come saturday the players have an off day, how can you blame gus? He doesn't have the gift of foresight. No manager does.Today, too many of our players did things you wouldn't expect them to playing poorly not playing their average game, but playing a poor game. Something Gus couldn't have expected when he picked the team.

ffs, of course they didn't get caught out. You would have to actually attack them, to catch them out. This is the whole point and it goes back to an appalling team selection.

Too true. If you don't get the all over the half-way line for 10 minutes you can expect some pressure on your defence!! Awful team selection and players who, for the first ten minutes looked like rabbits stuck in the glare of the headlights. Absolutely pathetic.
