As i understand the plans for our stadium expansion are 'under consideration'. Is it a matter of just waiting to see the verdict or is there a date set for when a decision must be made?

Cheers.

The bbc say that the extra 8000 seats will be ready start of next season. I'm not sure that's correct. The north stand extra seats will be finished the following year. (I believe)

So, last season at Withdean, next season increasing the size of Falmer by the size of Withdean!

Think of the increased pressure on Azure to ensure that I get a hot pie!

I agree with the away fans 'it looks unfinished' comments, mainly because yes it is unfinished, it's gonna look the BUSINESS when it's complete!

I think that puts things into perspective.

In a perverse sort of way I enjoy the fact that the main concern of many seems to be the state/availability of pies, Harvey's and whether it will 10 or 15 mins to queue for bus. A far cry from worrying about the club actually ceasing to exist.

Assuming the increase at The Amex is agreed then does it not make more financial sense to put them all in at the same time rather than staggering it between this close season and the next? If the East and South corners get completed in the summer then the North will look even more bizarre sat on its own all unloved and detached.

Indeed. How far we have come!

That's why a regular re-read of "Build A Bonfire" should be an ORDER for all BHA fans...!

I know why they've gone for the full bowl, but I really like the separated stands. It gives the stadium a much more open feel and helps to set it apart from the other stadiums.

However, I'll happily take 30,000 cheering fans (well maybe 27,000 cheering Brighton fans) over not really liking having the corners filled in.

including the 'half time at hereford pages :) sends shivers down my spine still....how much The Albion meant to everyone and how scared we all were it was going to end back on 3rd May 97. Statue of Stevie Gritt should be outside the Amex so everyone realises that.
