You said all along that there was a better site for the stadium than Falmer.
The second inspector examined all the alternative sites, including the ones suggested by you, and found that none of them were better than Falmer, and that there was not a realistic chance of planning permission ever being gained at them.
Falmer is the best site, there isn't an alternative, your blinkered assumption that there was was wrong.
The decision to grant permission to build at Falmer was not a political decision, it was a planning decision, and yes it did follow Government planning guidelines. Don't forget that the ODPM actually said that the continued existence of the Albion in itself was not of national concern, but the economic regeneration of the Moulsecombe ward, which is where the stadium site actually is, one of the most deprived wards in the country, most certainly is in the national interest.
