Christmas day is tolerable but we're bombarded by it for two months out of every twelve. That's nearly 20% of our lifetimes.

If we have to have it can't we make it every four years like the Olympics?

Yes, I’ve always loved the build up and my kids have followed suit. Possibly linked to my love of snow (yes I know we rarely get it), frosty weather and all things Alpine.

Austrian and Swiss ski resorts got their first proper snow this afternoon. A magical time of the year for us, starts now.

Shocked that I did not see a single Christmas Tree yesterday, I will keep them peeled and report back if I spot one today.
