Following on from the "do twenty somethings have it easy" thread...
My sister has a Msc (distinction) in Organic Chemistry from Sussex uni and has just been made redundant (her lab employing 8 or so people has closed down). She has been working for 3 years since her Msc - not sure of the exact job but basically she had to try to synthesise naturally occurring compounds that are used in medicine but very expensive so that they could (potentially) be mass produced without having to find tree frogs/snakes/rare algae etc. She is based in the Haywards Heath area - if the good folk of NSC have any appropriate employment contacts for someone with her background or something relevant I would much appreciate a PM.
