This week alone sees Atoms for Peace (I'm super excited about this), Pruriente, Doldrums and a delightful Soul Jazz German experimental compilation from 1971 released. Throw in the KXP release from a few weeks back and you have all you need for the close future.

What's floating everyone else's boats at the moment?

Brought my first three albums of the year Tuesday:- Nick Cave, The Foals & Parquet Courts - Impressed with all three but have only listened to them fleetingly so far.

I've also been listening to Ty Segall who has released, what seems, an album a week recently: all rooted in the 60s west coast of America with varying degrees of fuzz and psych.

The collab with White Fence was marginally my favourite of the 3 last year. Fabulous live as well. You'd likely get a lot from Thee Oh Sees if you haven't done so already. Help was one of my favourite albums of '09.

You're correct about the White Fence collaboration. It's a bit more folky and lazy than his other more fuzzy loud efforts, which suits me. Ill look up The oh Sees. Thanks.
