Brighton factually.....
Why would Fati's loan ending be a reason for RDZ to leave ?
Eh, wrong end of the stick my good fella, I am saying RDZ was a major factor in Fati coming to us, if RDZ leaves that may hinder any slim chance we had of getting Fati to stay either by another loan or purchase (highly unlikely).

sorry if I was not clearer

He's beyond us for a full move. I could imagine a loan being extended, but I can't see that he as offered enough at this stage to justify it.

See what happens in Europe.

No, that wasn't a strangely remembered pre-Christmas dream you had folks.

Albion really are in Europe.

I believe he's come on in the last two games but I've had to check as he's been completely anonymous. Hope he gets up to speed soon as I was enjoying his performances before his injury.
Too early in his comeback to be drawing conclusions.

At the moment, it's a positive he's on the pitch.

What we're hoping is that his proven quality will prove the difference in a big match at the business end of the season

I’ve been reading on the club website that our profile in South America has sky rocketed and they are very aware that Brighton is the go-to club to break into the Premier League because we give them a chance. I think signing Ansu Fati(even though he is not South American) made the rest of the world look at Brighton and say “What’s going on there?” Great PR for the club, putting us on the world map. How times have changed.

Let’s not forget that Roberto was the pull here - he personally spoke to him.

It is a shame his injury with us has set back his loan progress but I’m looking forward to the Europas, he should be scoring goals by then.

But a fantastic coup for the Club - I suspect if Barco works out, he may also raise our international profile building on our previous World Cup winner record.

And Adingra being the star man in the Africa Cup of Nations final can only help too.

Falmer, soon...
If you ignore the Barcelona history and trust your eyes, he is a promising young talent who has flashes of potential.
I think the frustration is that he appears languid, lacking the explosiveness and burst power of some of our other forwards. It feels like he isn't playing in the Premier league yet in terms of intensity but his positioning and understanding of the system is improving.

All of this of course is entirely reasonable given his injury history. It feels like he's playing within himself.

I think we'll see him step up as he gets consistent games
