The Station Pub at Preston Park have booked a 50 seater coach from the pub to The Amex for Albion home games, starting with the Peterborough game on August 27th.

Its going to be leaving the pub at 2pm and returning straight after the game. They haven't got timings worked out yet for evening games.

They are charging £4 return fare and that includes the coach and a pint in the pub when the coach gets back :drink:

Car Parking is on meters outside the pub, or free up the hill, and those who know the pub will know its right next to Preston Park Railway Station.

You must register your interest, and book your seat in advance, either by calling in at the pub, phoning 501318 or emailing cayla_leigh@yahoo.co.uk

And no, I am not on commision for this  but I am hoping this might be a better transport option than the others on offer.

Great idea. I may well use this on non 1901 days. Great for them to have 50 odd punters back in the pub on a Saturday late afternoon. Good luck to them.

Knew we could rely on you old chum, Amex Concourse Pre/Post drinks are all very well, even with the poor Harveys Service, but our chances of a Lock-in with Tony, Dick & Des are probably Ziiulch Eeh ;)

Sounds like the Best Thing Ever to me, with or without the free pint.

(I'd happily pay double that for the midweek games)

Do you have to be a regular? If so, where do I enrol?

No need to be a regular. They are trying to get last season's regulars back.

Cheers mate, sent email earlydoors. No response yet, maybe you could give cayla_leigh a wee bit of a nudge in that direction.

Nice to see The Station making the effort, wouldn't expect the C&A to do so cos they don't seem to recognise the concept of 'a regular', but would have maybe expected the Tap to have been arsed to set something up. Oh well, their loss.

Would be better if it left at 1.30pm

Don't disagree. I may have to suggest as much, but this is what they are proposing for the first week as I understand it.
