I have a relatively new account and have 100% feedback currently.
I've had an ebayer purchase an item off me buy it now for £89.95 + £50.00 international postage. They have paid in full by PayPal.
However, the buyer has 0 feedback and has only been a member a few weeks - and is based in Greece and has an unconfirmed address.
I have doubts as to the legitmacy of this individual - am I able to cancel the transaction without repercussions (i.e. negative feedback) and how do I stop myself from potentially being seriously out of pocket?
f***ing eBay
PS. I deliberately overcharged with a 'blanket' international postage cost which I considered very high (£50.00 for a 4kg parcel) to deter dodgy international buyers and they paid it anyway. Having checked, the item will cost £35.91 by international signed for post including £500 compensation according to the painfully unreliable Royal Mail postage calculator. Am I better just sending it that way, refunding him the difference and hoping for the rest?
