Makes me laugh that a large percentage of fans want another Guy Butters in our present team. Whilst I wouldn't disagree with that, it seems a little Ironic that these fans also slated Butters when he first came to the club.

Some fans even put him up for Sale on EBAY for £5.

Funny lot!!

Desperately need somebody experienced to boss the defence, cos they're all over the place.

This man speaks the truth.

If we'd had a Butters-esque player today, we'd have had the 3 points in the bag.

Colin Hawkins has the chance to become the next Guy Butters. He hasn't had the best start with us, just like Butters, and he has played a large amount of his career in the higher leagues. He might be the older, more experienced head we need to steady the ship. It might be better than another loan signing...

Good call, he derseves another chance given the amount of chances the current centre back pairing have been given!

Stop it you're killing me. Look at his career record, in terms of first team matches he's less experianced than Elphick.

From where did you get that rubbish prior to joining us he had played 13 times for Coventry and 272 for various teams in the League of Ireland (equivalent to our Conference) So he has not played as many FL games as any of our defenders. He played a few for Doncaster in the same division as us.

The kind of player we need is Linvoy Primus on loan from Pompey.

Apologies for the error...but i still think he is unjustly criticised on this board and could be a steadying influence. He is an older heard.

Jake Wright may also get a chance at CB, but obviously he is another relatively young player and inexperienced.

Of the others we have already at the club, Virgo has to step up and be counted...just as he did at the end of last season.
