This behaviour is truly outrageous and whoever is responsible is known by others. I would not allow someone to do this if they were a friend of mine! FFS get a grip!

Pork pie land.
Just after we scored I first got sprayed with beer then a near full bottle of beer flashed past my head and hit the lady in front on the shoulder narrowly missing her young sons head. I dread to think of the damage that could have done to the little chap if it had hit him.

Whoever you are, you are a total disgrace.

Maybe it was one of the players' bottle? A number of players have lost theirs over recent weeks!

Are you fishing or are you just a prick?

Banning them from attending Albion matches, 'A bit harsh'. They should be locked up! Sooner or later a glass bottle is going to hit a kid in the face, they are the ones usually down the front. Even if it hits an adult it would be terrible.

I wonder if you would think it 'a bit harsh' to ban whoverer threw a bottle that hit you in the face when celebrating a goal, blinding and scarring you for life.

I suggest you change your name to Captain Prick because you don't have anything sensible to say.

Sorry I should have higlighted the part that I thought was Harsh, it was THIS

I hope whoever is responsible is caught and banned from attending Albion matches for a king time. Too many scumbags following the Albion at the moment - the only downside to a tremendous period for our wonderful club!

Not the bottle throwing, I agree with a ban for bottle throwing.

Sorry Captain Sensible. I may have been a bit harsh earlier with the name calling(It wasn't even very good name calling.)....I feel like I have dropped down to the level of some of the posters on the Argus website, but I was annoyed with the people that are throwing glass bottles. I shouldn't have taken it out on you.

You can call me a 'F.ing Grass' if you like, because I think I will be now be informing stewards about my fellow fans drinking from glass bottles. If they have them confiscated they can't throw them.

No No mate as I said, I agree with a ban. I just didnt make my post clear...I'd had a few drinks.

Can't believe some on here are saying that doesn't deserve a ban. Sadly I suspect the culprit will never be found and probably thinks this is funny. Complete cock.

For the record I am not sure it was a glass bottle, looked like it could have been plastic, but still nearly full and therefore lethal.

We were at the back of the stand and saw the two bottles fly through the air (few secs apart) from below us and to the left (2nd block on the left). They appeared to both be the green plastic Carlsberg ones sold below the stand (plenty of liquid came out so I assume they were close to full).

The guy behind me threw one just before the game started, went down on to the tier below. It was a hell of a throw to be fair to him, especially as he was too inebriated to do anything except make strange grunting noises and dribble.

Sadly we seem to have a larger element of complete idiots at away matches these days.

Exactly this. So many Danny Dyer wannabe teenage goons thinking they're the big I AM showing off in front of their mates while singing shitty songs 'Small town in West Ham', 'We pay your benefits' CRINGEWORTHY

I have to admit i'm thinking in future of giving these idiot magnet away games a swerve in future.

I dont agree with bottle throwing but to claim that there are more idiot teenage goons going to away games is harsh I sometimes think people wont be happy until there are just the same 3000 who went to the withdean who turn up week in week out.
