He was a quality drummer and front man for Genesis. I agree he did sell out with his solo career but that said made a packet out of it.

I think (may be wrong) before joining Genesis had trails with either Brentford or QPR. I think (may be wrong) he is a QPR fan, on the cover of Match Of The Day there is a picture of a penalty taken by Don Mason against Man City.

This is not the first time he has quit, he threatend to leave the country years ago due to high taxes in the UK.

The man was a genius but so where the other members of Genesis.
