Frank has a tiny bit of European experience, he twice got Brondby to Europa League but they were knocked out in the qualifiers both times.

First season (14-15) they lost 5-0 on aggregate to Club Brugge.

Next season they beat Juvenes/Dogana (San Marino) 11-0, then beat Bulgarian side Beroe Stara Zagora 1-0, before losing on away goals rules (2-2) to Cypriot side Omonia.
