I am thinking that you lot will know more about him than me seeing as he plays in your division and what not but is he really worth £5 million? I mean we are being linked very strongly and Kinnear has said discussions have taken place but we only spent £2.5 million on Murphy.

So is Reid really £5 million

I think Reid's a class act - definitely a good Prem player. But I agree - how can he be worth £5m when Murphy only cost half that.

Spurs were right not to offer more than £3m for a bloke that's never played at the highest level.

I would have though £2m is fair in this present climate, £5m is a joke.
