I notice that according to CeeFax he's now saying that staying at Palarse will help his career. Funny how before he signed his new five year contract he was begging to move away......

I also see Sven has basically said he'll never play for England whilst at Palace.Who knows what he was thinking when he signed that 5 year deal?Did Jordan drug him or something?
 


Apparently in his 4 years in England, Sven has never watched a single game in the Championship :lolol:

Seems clear he had the choice between trying to further his career at a level he wasn't over-confident at (presumably Premiership defenders wouldn't gift him as many "penalties" the second time around), or taking a pay-rise to tread water in the Championship.

The good news for England fans (as well as for Crouch, and of course our friends from the footballing rest home which is Croydon) is that when it came down to it, Johnson just didn't have the bottle to take the risk.
