Someone I know with supposedly good contacts told me he was expecting him to sign last week / weekend for a 3 month deal.

That's all he's supposed to want - get himself in the shop window.

How true that all is I don't know, but like everyone else, the longer it drags on the less likely I think it is that we will sign him.
