Not saying there should be no minnows, but fewer of them.
A pre-qualifying competition with the minnows would help them learn how to win which would aid their development a lot more than the existing system.
The current system, with the odd exception, leads to terrible games of football with usually the minnows getting pumped. It’s been that way for years.
Reducing the number of qualifying games would also (in theory) allow elite players to take a break.Or maybe you think that’s not important ? I would say it is to maintain the quality of the premier league.
The minnows are seeded together in the Nations League with the result that San Marino not only won their first ever competitive game in October 2024 but then went on to win and score 3 goals in November 2024, the first time they have ever scored more than 1 goal in a competitive match.
We don't need pre-qualifying in the World Cup.

I was a Southgate happy clappy and I see no reason to change tonight. England won. None of our team wants to be there, they want to be on their hols in Dubai. We weren't any good but the game was won as soon as we got a goal.

It doesn't really matter how you win as long as you win.

It was a bit disappointing though. Thank god Harry Kane is good at football.

It's great to see all those English club side flags at England games.
Doncaster
Crawley
Swindon
Maidstone
Stoke
Hull
Poole Town
Chigley
Trumpton
Camberwick Green

Makes me proud to be English.
And these days you can be arrested for saying that.

I used to be in the England travel club. In fact the last match I ever went to (home or away) was Andorra in the old Espanyol ground. That was
0-0 at half time as well when McClaren got booed.

Nowadays England are up there with Palace as my most hated ‘club’

I think they’re shit and I hate their fans.

I can confirm this.
Needless to say, I had the last laugh and didn't join in.

But both chants lasted for about 15 seconds each, so really nothing for Labour diehards to lose too much political allegiance sleep over and question their support of the national team.

Radicalised twunts. GB News is their source of truth.

If you asked them WHY they think Starmer is a c**t, the knobheads probably couldn't even come up with a reason.

Why I never go to England games.
It was a few hundred at most of the 7,000. And that's probably a fair representation of those who think he is. (I don't.)

But differing political allegiances from a minority is not a reason to boycott England games IMHO.
