And we allow the shame of Das Reich to pollute this site

How does he pollute the site you obviously just found out where the name comes from, learn your history.
I've never had a problem with it

Maybe you could ask why he's using it. Maybe he's genuinely interesting in the socialist newspaper and movement. Maybe he's not. Maybe he's using it as a metaphor. Maybe it's just a username. I'm not a particularly huge lover of albumen.
The thread title is very Daily Mail.

^ Bill, I'm guessing you're agreeing with me rather than Lord Bracknell, going by the time posted.
I know about Das Reich, it's not nice stuff, as I've said I've visited the place. But if I changed my username to Genghis Khan or Chairman Mao or any dictator or genocide movement is that tasteless? It's an interesting thought, one that's stopping me from tidying up the flat.
(by the way, I know nothing of Das Reich the NSC poster, I only remember not agreeing with him on most things so I'm not being biased)
*logs off*

Hey guess what, I am not really a very tall furry beast from a galaxy a far far away !!!!
You are also not very bright. No-one is suggesting that we have an SS panzer division posting on NSC.

What people are suggesting is that for the Mods to allow Das Reich the freedom to make his very stupid point is, at best, a serious misjudgment.

Yes was agreeing with you but my point why bring it up now because it was in the mirror this morning. If people feel so strongly why not object before and I don't know him either

Nestling in green nowhere
-As Lord Bracknell has said Das Reich honours that elite SS panzer gruppen whose march across France to meet the allies after DDay was characterised by atrocities and executions along their merry way. Max Hastings wrote a book on it which I have recommended that das reich reads and then takes a good look at himself.

We have debated the validity of his using deliberately this provocative username,I know the history thank you and my reason for re-starting this debate is the fact that Germany is at last attempting to bring justice to the surviving murderers.
But to glorify for pathetic shock-jock tactics murderous scum is a step beyond humanity.
