Sorry Guys but your team were pure comedy...

And your players were scum. Your fans were great, but your players went out of their way to incite an already angry crowd. I hope the police follow up on the many complaints they have receieved and prosecute them, and that your club show more sense than your idiot players and fine the whole lot. If that had gone off, people could have been badly hurt, including the morons who represent your team. Extremely sad, as your fans were a credit to the club

Nothing to do with the score?

I do hope you get hit by a bus you ignorant ****. Nothing would make me happier than to see a headline saying "queer in a blue and white feather boa hit by bus" WANKER

And to think I was actually interested in your plight....never mind theres always Oxford or Cheltenham

Glad to see your didn't deny being queer, guess thats what the pride thing is all about. Be proud of who you are even if your family isn't/

they did get me going....what do they expect? our players to get of the bus and join them.

The team had just won 0-3 and were on a high.... its not that often we win 0-3..

They were probably just waving bye bye

I can imagine it was pretty intimidating coming through a crowd of several hundred angry protesters. I dont think our players are as good as gold by any stretch, but I would question whether they'd do anything to suggest that they'd be happy if Swindon went under.

I walked through the "demo" to get back to the car park, there was (in my estimation) 2-300, they were not hostile , in fact they seemed to be lost in what to do..

I have spoken to a few Town fans today and they were not happy that the demo (and the red card)was not more actively supported.. Many fans seem to have given up hope....But the local paper here is reporting a deal may have been done, but dealines keep getting set and nothing happens..

And I really dont think the players give a toss if another club goes under, I dont know any of them personally but do u think they really care?
Clubs are only looked on as employers to them..they dont have the same loyalties as we do...

I stand to be corrected..

When I came out of the ground, they seemed pretty loud to me, but then perspectives are different arent they? The police were keeping everyone away from that area. I'd imagine the players would have come out of the door that they were outside, and i can't imagine that they would have wanted to stay outside for the protest.

From where we were, it seemed that we held more cards than they did, given the crowd and the "support", it did seem that the fans had given up, it was quite sad really. It certainly was different to when we were there last!

I don't know whether they would care as much as their fans would, but I can't imagine they'd expressively go out there all guns blazing about their club going under - it'd be f***ing stupid!

Is this going to become a recurring theme this season of other clubs fans criticsizing our players for not rolling over for the opposition because they've got some hardship going on? I know certain clubs are in financial trouble and one club had just lost a player in a road accident but there's only so far our goodwill can go surely? I dont know if it's just me but I dont remember any clubs rolling over for us at the Goldstone when we were in the shit and fighting for our survival, In fact I think most of them would love to have seen us relegated to save they're own skins.

The phrase (from 1998) that springs to mind is ... ... "Thank god Doncaster are REALLY shyte"

i don't think anyone would expect the opposite team to roll over for an easy win in any circumstances. we were shite yesterday, you were better. nothing more to it.

it doesn't change the fact that when faced with a few hundred clearly and visibly angry people who were protesting against the board, sticking your fingers up at them and laughing isn't a clever thing to do. they certainly weren't waving goodbye. i don't see why they'd find it hostile, it wasn't aimed at them and we moved aside to let the coach pass.

i apologise on behalf of stfc gazzza. i'm not sure why he was acting like such a cock, he's usually a decent enough lad.
