no you don't live in the same road as her wiltsy boy, she lives in London now, possibly her parents still have a house in bmuff though.

The fourth single is…
The Street Teamers among you will have already heard this, but for everyone else, here’s the news you’ve been waiting for: Amy’s next single is coming our way on 12th January, and it’s going to be an interpretation of the Sheryl Crow hit, ‘All I Wanna Do’.
Sheryl, who is one of America’s leading rock singer / songwriters, not only gave her blessing for Ms Studt to record a new version of the timeless tune, but she also helped out by providing some vocals.
The result is an energetic reworking of a confirmed classic, and ‘All I Wanna Do’ looks set to be one of Amy’s most exciting singles yet.
The video is being filmed this week, and we’ll have all the news direct from the set very soon.

If you could only listen to one song or one album again for the rest of your life, what would it be?

There’s albums that you think are really good, and then there’s albums where you get that awe factor when you listen to it. Generally, most of Radiohead’s albums I’ve got the awe factor from; I think they’re legends, they’re brilliant. But song-wise, probably Zero 7’s ‘Destiny’.
What is the favourite song you’ve recorded and why?

My favourite song that I’ve recorded is ‘Seconds Away’, which is the twelfth track on the album. For a lot of the other tracks I’ve written about being angry and upset, but this particular song is more chilled-out: it’s got a mellow feeling and it’s very ambient. I really like the way it builds and then the way it breaks down at the end into a kind of eerie, quiet sound.
If you could take one person and two items to a desert island, what would they be and why?

I would take a boat full of fuel to get off the island, and I would take a large supply of food and water! The person I would take would probably be my brother, because he’s incredibly entertaining and he’s somebody that I always get on with.
If you were invisible for the day, what would you do?

I think that’s quite an obvious one really! I think if it was somebody I really fancied, I’d probably go and scope them out and see what they do when they’re on their own. Go into a load of male dressing-rooms and check out the talent! And I might try and spook a few people out, that would be fun.
How did your friends take it when they realised you were becoming famous?

It was very gradual really. Now they’re like, ‘Oh Amy, just get off the TV!’ They’re all really proud of me, but they find it really strange. I can’t even get used to it; I still find it really weird

Well, I played Amy to my step kids (who are rather partialled to Michelle Branch) and they were more than a little impressed. Rather like the Darkness (who will soon be massive in the US) she'll shift a lot of units there too.
Interesting note, wifey has a soft top and given that the weather in that part of the US tends to be of the hot and sweaty variety I was trawling along blasting out 'Permission to Land' rather loudly and more than a few people asked me who the band was.
