The 'near-site' parking has been on sale to STH since last Wednesday. I'd be surprised if they haven't already sold the reported 700 that were available.
Perhaps the £360 price tag has put a lot of people off then!

I know yesterday was just small fry compared to the Spurs game or a league game but if I can get away as quickly as that in the future then I shall be delighted. Straight putt off the campus and on to the a27. Result! The 5 minute walk to the car park was invigorating too

Not sure there was a '1901 frenzy' seeing as all Platinum members were entitled to 1 space between 2 members, and gold members 1 space between 4 members, I'm sure that most of them will have used that route to get their parking spaces, no need for a frenzy.
