Mitoma is the one we all want to stay.

But, he has stated that Champions League football is his ambition. Man Utd or Spurs will certainly be looking at one of the worlds best right wingers who is proven in the Premier League and thinking about how much cash (£60m+) it will take to give him Champions League football. Then there is the top 5 too.

I hope we keep him so much, but I'm not confident on this one.
I'd really love to read the press release saying he's leaving to Man U or Spurs for Champions League football.

(Obviously the joke only works if the loser of their final signs him).

There's no way he's going to Spurs. We may not get Saudi level fees but we'd want more than Levy would pay for a 28-year-old. Man U is a possibility but they'd need to shift a lot of players out first

Unhappy with his playing time would be a bit harsh on both Fab and the club.
Horrendous injury, operation, careful and considered rehab. We've managed his minutes sensibly to get him back to full fitness.

He started the last 10-11 games consectutively hasn't he? It feels like he has anyway. And he's not exactly shone with this decent run of games.
If this story is genuine, would be very disappointing (character wise). Back to Celtic maybe?
Yes it would be very disappointing but it’s the only possible explanation IMO. It’s common knowledge that all of Romano’s info apparently comes from agents who pay him to talk up their client, my question would be: who is it that’s going to ask him to talk about interest in MOR?

It would be a sad way for things to go, but in all honestly I’m not sure he has the physicality for the Premier League anyway.

Bloody annoying as well as sad. All that time tracking him, paying £30M for him, rehabbing him and then he gives it what.. half a season.
I mean if he's shown his best at this level already, then I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. He's been thoroughly underwhelming and as you say, physically nowhere near strong enough.

I'll be staying until the end to clap Uncle Tony, Tommy the new winger from Sunderland and Sandra who runs security in the West Stand Lower.
According to this thread, they're the only ones who aren't leaving this summer.

I’ve never thought MOR had the physicality for the PL and have said so consistently.

I think Fab’s given him a bloody good shot at it personally but sadly afaic he won’t be a great loss if he moves on.

At 24 years old, he should be peaking so not even sure a loan would make much sense.

Yeah, I kind of expect him to be the one to go, but I'd think we'd only want to sell him (maybe one more).

It'd be a change of strategy if TB was determined to keep all the crown jewels, no matter the price offered. Baleba or JPVH would improve several PL teams who pay high transfer fees.

I can see Arsenal coming for Mitoma and Pedro. Saka and Mitoma on the wings, Pedro in the middle.

Having seen both for half a season, in a straight fight, I'd go for Goodnight (and he's 4 years younger)
