Not that anybody will particularly care, my eldest brother was apparently the first English person to get a scholarship in America for playing American Football. Didn't work out and he came back and captained Sussex Thunder's defence.

Been watching since the early days of C4 and have been to all the London games except the first one. There were approx 4k tickets still available yesterday but I think this is due to the recession - there were plenty of yanks over from the USA there yesterday who'd come for the game and a bit of sight seeing too. Deal has just been signed for 5 more games and popularity seems higher than ever !! Now if only they'd do the same with baseball !!

I played for the Dunstable Cowboys back in 1986 to 1987 when we won the division 10-0. It's not everyones cup of tea but personally I love the game. And it's very tactical, much more than rugby. If you don't like it don't watch it.
