All Good Football Songs Sung Slowly?

Love it when Spurs sing "when the Spurs go marching in" slowly.

Quite possibly my favourite non-Albion chant.

Those that rival it for me, well, probably West Ham's "forever blowing bubbles", or, Liverpool's "you'll never walk alone". Anything in common? Well, they're all sung pretty slowly.

Must be incredible as a player to come out to those every home game.

Could we ever pull something off like this at Falmer? I'm not sure. Which is a shame.

I've been caught up in "I'm forever blowing bubbles" at Upton Park before. Difficult not to sing along with it, very atmospheric, especially as they do it right up to the point of Kick-off. Starts the game off a treat. (Dont worry, it was a non Albion game)

The Spurs one came over really well on TV last night.
Started with a slow version (no clapping) and then into a faster clap assisted verse.
We really ought to be able to do a similar thing with GOSBTH.

I can recall Birmingham singing their anthem/song when we visited in the Coca Cola cup in the nighties. Amazing atmosphere.
We need to sing a few verses of Sussex By Sea and make it last longer than the 5 lines we sing

Anyway, the fact you posted that THREE YEARS ago, and we still can't sing slowly only increases my sadness of us never being able to.

i like the BAYERN chant they do at the Alliaz Arena (continuous chanting of bayern bayern etc) as it sounds blooming intimidating and quite amazing on tv. Anybody who was fortunate to watch the Inter Bayern game on sky sports instead of the borefest Man Utd Marseille game would have seen it, incredible fans and an incredible game.
