I used to love watching Sussex when I was a kid but over the years have lost interest in cricket.

However!

There is a bandwagon rolling around the country picking up Sussex fans........

....and I intend being on it:clap2:

I expect to feel the same amount of pride as I did when we won our first title for donkey's years. Come on Sussex-really piss off Kent and Surrey for us all!

Not at all.....if Sussex winning the title (let's remember it ain't won yet BTW) gets more Sussex kids interested in Sussex cricket and Sussex teams in general then all the better-maybe they'll start having pride in our local teams be it cricket, football or whatever.

Most of us band wagon jumpers are from Sussex originally anyway so what's the problem? Would you rather the achievement go un-noticed?

True you are from sussex already but your support never should of gone, so if BHA get relegated to the 3rd you wont support them again until we win say the 2nd division some years later?

SHOCKING :p

Horsham Town
I am a kind of in between perosn when it comes to the cricket, I normally go and watch one or two games a season, normally the one in Horsham and then another one in hove. I have done this for years but am never that bothered about the results on a weekly basis.

Obviously this year I have been watching the results a lot closer and am cheering the lads on.

I reckon that classes me as a semi bandwagon jumper and proud.

You don't know me so how can you assume I will abandon the Albion if we get relegated? I have supported the Albion since 1955-yes, 1955 when I was 4 years old. My support has never waivered-even when living in Canada, even in Div 4, even after Walton and Hersham beat us 4-0 at the Goldstone.

Cricket on the other hand lost me as fan-the game, not Sussex. I always looked out for news and results (which in Canada is like trying to find a hooker in Iran) but now I don't have the attention span required to follow any game that takes 4 or 5 days to grind to a draw.

Doesn't stop me enjoying my home county winning something though.

Meopham, Kent.
Bandwagon jumping here to.
I used to be a member for 2-3 years when I was working in Brighton, and would go along after work for the last couple of hours (we had flexi-time so I could be at the ground for 4.15).

Then I went off to University and settled in Kent. Only been along 2 or 3 times since, but I fancy throwing a sicky and getting along to watch us wrap up the title.

yes its alright I understood what you meant, hence the :p smiley at the end to signify I was mucking about :D I have no doubt you will continue to support BHA until the day you die as all of us will. The Sussex doing so well has re-kindled your flame for Cricket and thats good!
