Alive and Kicking help

One of my mates has had an idea that on one particular day this side of Christmas (probably a Friday), that we should try and encourage the companies around Sussex, but particular in Brighton, to take part in a fund-raising day for the Alive and Kicking appeal.

It could include dress down days, inter-department footy matches, even inter-company footy matches, but the idea is to get every company that wishes to participate doing it all on the same day.

I think this will take some organising, but it might be that we can get some help from Southern FM or SCR to help promote it, and get a point of contact from every company that is willing to get involved to help organise it for them.

Several things like this have happened before, I wonder if anybody could point me in the right direction as to who to contact initially. Ta

That idea has been discussed and bebated before (though not necessarily on here). It was felt that the organisation required against the financial benefit accrued didn't really make it worthwhile. And these things really do take some organising. I'll happily help if you want, though, bro.

A inter-company darts tournament or inter-department pool tournament - now that's MUCH easier to organise, and also involves vast amounts of beer.
