I have to say that at times last night, the Albion were passing the ball with such supreme confidence it was a joy to watch. I can honestly say they have some really good players to be able to do that and I cannot remember a time when we have looked so good and comfortable passing the ball in recent seasons (except the first half of Wolves away last year).

I watched the video tonight and we looked good just after we went 2-1 up, then nervous at the end.

Hard to say how good we are - if QPR really are a good team in this division (and I didn't think they looked anything at all last night) then we will be OK. Having said that Stoke are top of Div 1 after two games, not sure they will be there at the end of the season!

I thought Roberts looked assured at the back. The defence looked strong although mainly thanks to the support from the midfield. Hinshelwood still has a lot to learn but Cullip is the right man to help him along. Potent up front.

A performance we can take many positives from.

Couldn't agree more, second half we looked a great side. With little Neon, we have a good year ahead of us.:clap2:

Not the real one
Gary Hart played a blinder! Had a chat with him at the Christmas party last year and I and mates told him he's at his best when running at players and getting in the box. He replied by saying he didn't know he did that. Well, he did it last night and almost every cross from him was class. MOTM for me.

I totally agree... talking to my mate who's an Everton supporter, he said "It's just like watching the premiership!".

Mavelous scenes :clap2:

The passing in the second half was superb, even before they were down to 10 men.

I thought Hinsh had quite a good game and will turn out to be one of the best players this seson. Its important that if we go up, we have to centre backs that have played a few games together so they know how they work. Morgan was a quality defender but what I felt we missed most was his understanding with Cullip. Hopefully Danny and Adam will develop this.

Interesting to watch the video after having watched the game ... only problem is we had a power cut at half time so only got to see the first half. Bugger! (Always getting bloody power cuts here ... what is this, the third world?)

Anyway, I thought Hinsh's lack of experience really showed up on TV. He's got promise, but the sooner we get Blackwell back, the better.

Watson's definitely passed it. If he's got sore arches (today's Argus) then a great reason to replace him with Pethick (or Piercy if he's fit) at Barnsley.

Jones had a pretty awful game. Another one who's not up to it. Can Harding play on the left?

Hart was great. Agree MOM.
