From the Argus...

Hungarian striker Drejan Kolac, currently on trial at the Albion, is keen to make an impression and persuade Mark McGhee to offer him a permanent contract. Free-agent Kolac is expected to get his chance in the friendly against Crawley Town on Saturday, and said yesterday: "I want to sign for Brighton and make a real impact in The Championship this season. I have been impressed with the players here, who have all made me feel very welcome, and now I just want the chance to prove myself in English football, starting at Crawley on Saturday".

Six-foot Kolac, 24, came up through the youth ranks at crack Hungarian team Honved and played 22 times in the Hungarian top flight, scoring six goals. Kolac also made a 2nd Round UEFA Cup appearance against Roma, scoring Honveds consolation goal in a 4-1 defeat at the Olympic Stadium, before being transferred to Trabsonspoor. Following a disappointing twelve month spell where he failed to hold down a regular place in the team, Kolac's contract was not renewed and he left to fulfil two years National Service in the Hungarian Armed Forces. "I loved the army" said Kolac. "We were trained to be killing machines. We could not be reasoned with, we could not be bargained with. We could not feel pity, or remorse. And we absolutely would not stop, ever, until we were knee-deep in our enemies entrails". Kolac went on to describe a brutal and disturbing incident when he skinned a wild mountain goat alive with his bayonet. "It was me or the goat" he said. "I stabbed it in it's big ugly eye, peeled off it's skin and gutted it while it was still warm and twitching, so your big english defenders hold no fears for me" he chuckled.

Albion manager Mark McGhee has high hopes that Kolac can fill the hole left by the departure of Chris Iwelumo, and strike up an understanding with last seasons top goalscorer Leon Knight. "He's a big, confident lad who could bring something different to the team" said McGhee. "He's already settled in well with the rest of the lads, although Bob (Booker) has had to take away his nine-inch steel serrated hunting knife, which he takes everywhere with him, as it was upsetting some of the players". Mcghee acknowledged that Kolac was somewhat unorthodox and accepted that the Hungarian has something of a psychotic streak. "Aye, you could say that, but I think sometimes you need that in a player. I'm after someone who can handle the physical side of the game in this country. His military background has given him an edge. He knows in his own mind that when required, he could turn his marker on the edge of the box, or rip him to pieces with his bare hands in a frenzied and senseless attack. Sometimes in the past we've had a tendency to be too nicey-nicey, and I'm hoping that Drejan can help us get over that, and bring a little more raw aggression and sickening violence to the team".

Tickets are still available from the ticket office for the match at Crawley Town, although the club have now confirmed that fans can also pay on the day.

That's the problem now, Easy. No-one knows if you are telling the truth or telling us what the voices in your head are telling you to say.
Truth ? I can't handle the truth. The voices are comforting though.

This article obviously wasn't written by a proper journalist

So it could be from the Argus then

Quality! For a minute or two I was getting quite excited that Albion might be signing someone at last, and someone with a major character defect that might have a positive influence on the team, then I realised it was Easy. Haven't been keeping up with these 'spoofs' lately, but will be more aware in future.
