Albion to re-sign old talent

ive heard various rumors by fans at palace tuesday night that the albion may re-sign former talent darren budd who was in the albions youth squad about 6 years ago and made a few first team apperances, he now plays for worthing but has been on deadly form and hoping to move on loan or peremanet during the summer to higher league club and apparently albion are interested

I quick Wikipedia (I know, I know) search suggests that someone of that name was in the first team squad in 2004/5, but was loaned out to Bognor. However I'm suspicious that both him and Dean Cox are listed with the squad number 31.

If i remember rightly, highly rated at youth level & lower, but never made it anywhere near first team & we've had a few like that.
