There must be some significance to the name "Albion" for the Kosovan people. Back in October 2014 the Finnish club Turun Palloseura reported on their website that 15-year-old Albion Ademi was trialing with us - he had been born in Kosovo before moving to Finland as a baby with his family due to the Kosovo War.

There is also the Swiss-Albanian player Albian Ajeti who played for West Ham.

More than 90% of the Kosovan population is ethnically Albanian. I guess 'Albion / Albian' derives from that?

We also have Alban Bunjaku who played against the Albion U-21s for Charlton and Derby. He was born in London but played for the Kosovo national team.
