Albion's players return to work on Monday without knowing who their manager will be next season.
Gus Poyet’s disciplinary hearing into alleged breaches of contract began on Thursday following a five-week internal investigation by the club.
The process is continuing and the Seagulls are determined to see it through, no matter how long it takes.
The players will start pre-season with medical tests in the build-up to their first friendly at Whitehawk on July 6.
Oscar Garcia’s representative Pere Guardiola is tight-lipped about reports suggesting the former Barcelona midfielder will be Albion’s next manager.
The brother of Pep Guardiola has refused to comment after Barcelona-based daily sports newspaper Sport reported yesterday that Garcia heads a four-man Albion shortlist from Tim Sherwood, Tottenham’s technical co-ordinator.
The report also claimed Garcia will be offered a two-year deal by the Seagulls and bring an un-named Catalan No.2 with him to The Amex.
