Don't believe it myself, but that was just my perspective should it actually be true!

Fair enough Biscuit.

But I'm very curious about this...

==> How are they manifesting this revolt?

==> How does McGhee know that they are revolting?

==> Have they bothered to tell him?

==> Has anybody told Charlie that he's supposed to be the ringleader?

I have taken anote of these questions and will be calling my informer when he gets back from work. Im sure he will have sufficient answers to your questions.

Just one point, from a complete outsider's point of view.

Notwithstanding the fact that Oatway has been said to be an unofficial 'spokesperson/enforcer/organiser' for the squad, why would he lead a revolt about, among other things, the training regime when he's not even training at the moment? Isn't he still injured? Is he getting knackered even looking at the squad put through their paces, or is he so much the mouthpiece that the other players will only speak through him?

Just a thought...

I posted on here last week about MM man management skills or lack of them, and it seems to be true.
Im not saying it is,but it certainly looks that way???

I would still like to know why Millwall decided to part with him by Mutual Consent?
Something just doesnt seem to be right here.???

Any offers anyone?

Stopping trying to have an opinion Gibbles.

I know exactly who your source is. He's bullshitted to me before. I came on here a few years back spouting some bollocks he had told me.

A nice bloke though. I'll ask Adam El-Abd what he thinks. I reckon he's quite happy though!

These are the same players that all played for Adams, Taylor and Coppell winning 2 league and coming within a hair breath of surviving in div 1 when they had no right to.

McGhee is alarming me at the moment.

That could be the problem, because "the same players who played for Adams Taylor and coppout" is basically down to a core of the old sides, and without the one man of a "one man team", the OTHER man who played alongside him who could dribble and beat players, a very good senior defender, plus a couple of really good loan players that we drooled over but could not afford to keep.

We have replaced the "one man" of our team with another version, but that's about it. A couple of good lads coming in from the reserves, and the "same players" have either been getting older and losing some of their touch, or they have been letting their heads drop and are off their game. Either way, what that adds up to is a losing side who need re-awakening and rebuilding.

If the players themselves object to the new boss, who is obviously trying to re-awaken them, then what hope do they have to be professional football players in this division and/or league? If he's a military grinder, then I suspect these young conscripts are somewhat better paid than soldiers, go home after work, don't have to face danger....and are getting some gym that most of us should pay for to get fit. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH THAT ?

Should anyone feel sorry for any pro player who doesn't like football academy ? Like has already been mentioned, the team did poorly under Bob Booker, who they liked, so "the boss is one of the lads" is neither an advantage or even a good thing .
If MM is cracking the whip, then it's better than the players riding him into the 3rd Division and Conference.

This is all, however, complete conjecture since it's a rumour based on what soemone at the argus says.
Let MM do his job and change things to his results, things certainly did NOT need to stay the same .

I hope he's made them all sit down and watch the video of the Bristol City game. Then they might have realised that it is indeed "shape up or ship out" time" because that was frankly unacceptable.

and if the players thihk it was acceptable then I'm with Mr McGhee

Maybe better to watch videos of the Middlesboro and Lincoln matches, and compare and contrast.

With much the same team, we were first to the ball against the Premiership club, but second best against lower division.

Both were enjoyable to watch, plenty of skill in patches, but the motivation or the legs seemed to be missing in the 'easier' game.

Paul Ifill (in his own words, to me) said he hated McGhee when he first arrived at Millwall but soon came to respect him. So like whoever it was who said about Micky Adams, the players hated him at first blah blah blah blah whatever was right, Mc G just needs some more time man.

The players could have almost made it impossible for DK to employ anyone other than Bob Booker if they had gone out on the pitch and proved he was the man for the job.

They didn't and have now got that they deserve. Tough. They get paid a good wage to wear the shirt, bloody well earn it I say.

True.

They lost to Stockport and Brentford before MM even arrived.

Personally I would rather believe RLZ than Biscuit's informer (no reflection on you Biscuit)

At work - probably
As somebody rightly said one or two of the players didn't like Micky Adams that much (including Gary Hart), but that didn't stop him producing a (one or two) championship winning side - and that was after a poor start - and after he got rid of most of the players that were here at the time.

If it is true, it is about time someone put a rocket up the teams arse. Shocking results and very poor performances. The poor performances have been, in my opinion, happening all season. Get rid of some of the rot, particularly the ringleaders, because the players should be trying to impress the new manager not repress.

If this is true, then, I'm sorry, my sympathy lies with McGhee. The players performances since Coppell left have been truly awful, and they are in no position to moan at anyone else but themselves. If they perform on the pitch then maybe they'll get a better response from McGhee off it. lets face it is nearly always the manager who loses his job before the players if the results aren't right.

However, I am hoping that Biscuits source is winding him up.

Guys you gotta slow down.Mcghee is a bloody good manager. Most of our players have had it.Wots the big deal.I don't get it.Look we need a new team and thats the bottom line. Can't balme the manager he's only been here for a f***ing couple of weeks. The team should be acting like the profesionals which they are instead of arsing around.Have any of you fogotten the time against Kiddermister when we lost at home 2-0 and you lot were saying it was the end. That was under Adams, you also wanted him sacked when we lost to Chester at home.I mean he is now in Albion folk law.So just chill.

Brighton till I die!

I can assure you this is true. Im sure Naylor will print something soon. Im only getting on MM back coz Im so pissed of at the way our players are playing. I dont care who said what first, the fact is things need to be changed. Its far more likly to replace manager than to replace 22 players...if we have that many.

Why are you "getting on MM's back"? Because of the way the players are playing? Do you realise how ridiculous that sounds? McGhee has been here less than a month, he inherited a squad of out of shape, lazy bastards who have been taking it easy for most of the season. That's McGhee's fault? It is clear to most people that this year's team is nowhere near as fit as they have been in recent seasons. A trademark of Albion teams for at least the three previous seasons has been an ability to wear down the opposition in the last 15 minutes of every game-now they're f***ed after 15 minutes.

Mr McGhee, have the lazy bastards running the hills like MA did. If they don't like it-have 'em do it again. It's time they were reminded that they do not run the team and that it's the manager's job.

Any of them don't like it, they can f*** off!

Cullip went on record as saying that Coppout was the best manager he'd ever worked with. Coppout left us four points clear. The same bunch of players have become completely de-mótivated since he left and so surely the finger points at Mcghee's management style/personality. The players aren't producing for Mcghee, but they did for Coppout.

And what about the four games the players had under Brooker? Were they demotivated then?

As I mentioned before we lost to Stockport and Brentford before MM even arrived.
