Albion merging with Millwall

..at least, that's what happened in my dream last night.

Perhaps it was reading the MK Dons thread yesterday or seeing Paphitis on Dragons' Den last night but in my dream, the Albion board was seeking to take over Millwall (who were bottom of the Football League and completely broke). No, I have no idea why we wanted to take over a failed club and no,. I have no idea why we wanted Franz Beckenbauer for a manager ... but we did.

I then woke up as my two-year-old son was kicking me in the head. Probably just before we made an offer for Pompey as well.

True. It could have been my missus kicking me in the head - she really is a Millwall supporter.

That is rather ironic that you should a Millwall Brighton merger because when the rumour of David Gold emerged, we had just apponted the new Chief Exec, ex Milwall, and 1 of my sons suggested that the man with money who might be going to invest could be Theo Paphitis
