The final day of the festival is the NEW Albion In The Community Raceday.

Celebrate the new stadium opening and raise some money for charity in the process. A donation of every ticket will go to Albion In The Community! A great family day out, with a chance to meet ex-players!

Maybe they're doing two? One over jumps and one at the splendid Summer festival up the Race Hill? Would make sense.

Fair enough, don't know why they wrote NEW though? Plumpton is a much better day out IMHO, Brighton racecourse isn't all that.

We sponsor the Albion in the community department that are organising this event and will be working alongside the Guy Butters, Richard Carpenter and Danny Cullip to hopefully make the day a success. The day will include a chance to meet ex-albion players, take penalties against them and auctions/a raffle with prizes such as tickets for the first game at the Amex. All money made will go directly to Albion in the community so if anyone has any fundraising ideas or things they would like to see on the day, please do post on this thread.

I would love to see Guy Butters in jodphurs and a set of blue and white silks (who wouldnt ) along with the other players race the last furlong blindfolded , there would be no accidents as long as somebody was holding a bag of chips at the winning post im sure they would all manage to get home

Presumably this guarantees that the first League game of the season can't be moved to the Friday evening. We need the racecourse to be available for matchday P&R car parking, not cluttered up with cars driven by the likes of Tank, Danny, Chippy, the FDM, Stainless, Mr Melton and Jolly Rodger.
