Which player sales/purchases does this include, i.e. what is the cutoff date?

Are we expecting a huge drop off in next year's numbers to account for the summer spending spree and lack of megasales in summer 24?
End of June, I think. I know for certain that 23-24 included sales of Caicedo and Sanchez, but that Mac Allister was in previous year's accounts.

Didn't we still have sales in the region of 30-35m last summer - Undav, Gilmour and Gross? Not quite the 100+m of previous years, but certainly not insignificant.

Undav was €30m, Gross 6 or 7 and Gilmour about 10 if I remember rightly? Plus various sell ones and minor sales were probably looking at about £50m in sales.

But up against £200m+ in purchases, I was expecting our numbers to be much more in the red.

and presumably there will be some transfer incoming thanks to Liverpool / Mac Allister winning PL. Even more if Arsenal (White, Trossard ) had had won CL ? perhaps a bonus incoming if Sanchez, Caicedo, Cucurella win Conference League (perhaps not ha ha ) . and if Gyokeres is sold for big ££ before June 30th then we get a selling on percentage ?

The £200m will add about £45m to the amortisation charge, so they'll probably cancel each other out. Given that the 24-25 operational loss was about 35m, we'll have something of a similar order as our overall loss for the current season.

Hi @El Presidente - is the average wages figure - average wages across the entire club - so everyone from Press to Marketing to Coaches to Ticketing and high paid directors ! - but also all the professional players (men and women)
Is it possible to work out - from the accounts - the average mens players wages figure ? Do you try and do that ?
It’s the estimate of average first team wages by allocating a proportion of total payroll costs to players, based on data published by UEFA.

Not to mention a Sarmiento related bonus with Burnley being promoted. Could be worth upwards of a fiver.

The most curious thing..

But we have to pay a refund for the loanees at Ipswich and Leicester following their relaxation
