Why is he on trial with Watford? Surely he can't be good enough for the Premiership when McGhee has hardly ever played him. I doubt they will sign him but if they do, will we get any money?

I think he came on at half time and was then subbed on 79 minutes in their game against Wycombe Wanders!

In the Evening Standard they said his performance was "impressive"

He seems to have the same flaws that he had on the day we signed him. Either he hasn't got the apptitude to improve or the coaching isn't effective. I hope its the former.

"But potential purchases were on display at the Causeway Stadium including Cameroon international striker Joseph-Desire Job  and impressive former Brighton youngster Albert Jarrett"

It's probably the latter. It seems Watford have seen some potential in him that our coaching staff have not been able to develop. Surely if he is impresive on trial with a Premiership sid he is worth a decent run in the team - if we get him back.

Amazing what a good manager can bring out of a player...

Still not convinced he'll be offered a deal with them though.

well brooker was a prem player for a season so its possible, maybe Boothroyd sees potential in him, hes still young so could be viewed as a cheap signing to go into there youth team/reserve team, I still think he can be an asset to us coming on for the last 20 minutes, unfortunatly Mghee does not rate him at all.

You mean he won't be scoring the winner against us on August 5th, oh no, hang on, that was Alexis Nicolas :lolol:

Relax - Mark McCammon also had this much game time for Watford earlier this year.
