Pardew is almost as odious as Gary Evans and Nigel Adkins. The fact he is the Palace manager now is a perfect fit.

Ha. Eastbourne Borough's manager Tommy Widdrington was unhappy with the Whitehawk facilities a week or so ago - said there were "rats as big as cats" around the dressing rooms. Be nice to see Palace get an away draw at the Enclosed Ground one day.

In other news, the Pope declares his Catholicism and bears confirmed to be defecating in the woods.

Its a strange coment to make when his home stadium is selhurst park.
perhaps he thinks that things have changed since he left there as a player. In which case he's in for a nasty shock.

dover are a non league team with a very low budget, when palace on the other hand are a team in the prem.
not much difference between the stadiums other than size.
Although dover would probably have a higher attendance than palace if palace were in their league.

look at what you got pardew b4 you go criticising other peoples ground. And show some respect.

Surely they'd feel at home?

I've been to dover, as many will have on here. The walk up the hill takes no longer than 3 minutes. No problem for a group of finely tuned athletes (and pardew). I'd have thought the sloped pitch and stadium would be more of an issue!

Do you mean Steve Evans?

Can you imagine a coaching set up of Pardew as manager, Evans as first team coach and Adkins as asst manager...as they strut across the pitch looking like a bunch of gun slingers... They are the 3 managers I dislike the most in the British game.

Add Paul Raynor Evan's no2 and you have a full house.

A total non story.
Mr Parmenter is not well liked on the south east non league circuit, who in the past has criticised other clubs and stadia in their own league.
FWIW, Pardew was filmed getting off the coach, smiling and talking to fans, then walking up the "hill", he didn't seem to have the hump.
But on the plus side, it gives us another Palace thread that we can post on without fear of reprisals, and if by having Pardew at the helm makes you hate us more ....... then GOOD ! The next defeat against us will be more painful.

Our meeting again has certainly been brought forward by our boards managerial appointments. Something for which we should all be greatful.

As things stand in the tables, we are staying up, and palace are going down.

Would be excellent if it stayed that way, and hopefully Arrogant Alan plays his part in that outcome :lolol:
