Sounds great to me, I think we'll try the west stand upper. Briiliant stuff.

Don't try and get a view inside from the seats though. The stewards were not having any of it when I popped round to the North stand for a pint.

Also, the only way I could get from the WSU to any other concourse was to go out and then back in again. In which case you cant take your beer with you . Surely there must be a way?, but no bugger seemed to know how.

It would seem very petty if the stewards wouldn't let people take a look from the gangways.

The vast majority of footie fans are decent people, in fact part of past problems have been in the way football fans have been treated as hooligans.

It's a bold step by the Albion and i think we should all do our best to make sure it works. having lived through the bad old days, when visiting another town was sometimes akin to war, modern times have seen a lot of fans mixing and being very friendly. Football is not a cheap hobby these days, especially if you travel, so why should trouble start?

Anyway, any opposing fans who want to try the WSU will be in no state to be aggresive after tackling those stairs!
so you're saying trouble makers have been priced out of the game then ???

Not all but yes, I think a large number have.

I imagine you are from around the same time as me and I'm anything but rich yet I always managed to get to football from my pocket money and even when I was on the dole. If you went to a game and got chucked out then so be it but I'd hate to pay the best part of £30.00 and get chucked out of a game now or not even get in!

I should be older & wiser now anyway. mind you, some of our 'lads' are knocking on a bit but why spend all that time waiting for a proper ground and then get banned?
