In no rush to leave next week, not catching train from kings cross until 10pm, what are the chances of 3 of us getting a pint at the ground after the game until the rush at Falmer Station has calmed down? No colours will be worn. Is it Members only or have we a chance of getting in, if so which bar?

Many Thanks.

Are they allowing fans to mix all the time or just next week due to good relations?, EIther way it would be great to have a few beers with Albion fans after the game. I remember the 3-0 game at ours many moons ago, had drink with some great Albion lads in the Park Hotel also saw them at the return game at Gillingham. Shared a taxi with some Albion fans to Withdean a few years ago and would let us pay a penny. Fantastic bunch you lot ,roll on Saturday

Concourses are open till 7, you can move about into any of them. We had a beer in West Upper, West Lower and North stand after the game. You should come and join the Albion fans for a beer or two :)

The stated intention is to make post-match mixing of fans acceptable at most games. I guess that even includes accepting Albion fans in the away end. Since the away end will be selling some decent Doncaster beer next week, it might be worth exploring.

All the concourses will be open. North Stand will prob have long queues for food and drink if its anything like yesterday, but if you feel up to the 120 steps, the West Stand Upper has loads of kiosks open and very few customers, again if its anything like yesterday. Nice view from up there too. It might look at first sight like you're not allowed in, as there will be a lot of people milling about the West Stand Upper entrance, but that's only because its right next door to the players entrance and the people there will be waiting for autographs. Enjoy!

Millwall fans were brilliant at the London Bridge pubs last season - the day they stuffed Palace and we beat Charlton 4-0 at the Valley. A rather surreal love-in.

Worth remembering for a bit of variety!

Excellent a Stand-Crawl! what a great post match idea.

Yes, completely agree. Millwall fans were very friendly in the pubs around London Bridge before, and also at the station after the match. Was a bit surreal, but imagine they won't be the same on a day when we are playing them!

The vast majority of footie fans are decent people, in fact part of past problems have been in the way football fans have been treated as hooligans.

It's a bold step by the Albion and i think we should all do our best to make sure it works. having lived through the bad old days, when visiting another town was sometimes akin to war, modern times have seen a lot of fans mixing and being very friendly. Football is not a cheap hobby these days, especially if you travel, so why should trouble start?

Anyway, any opposing fans who want to try the WSU will be in no state to be aggresive after tackling those stairs!

Hmmm.. These wouldn't have been the same two stewards guarding the WSU entrance? We were told exactly the same thing. When challenged they insisted we had been "mis-informed" - quite ironic really!

I'm sure they all will be more consistent from Saturday - however frustrating for us it's a learning exercise for all of the staff too.
