I was trying to gt out of the Car park at the marina...very tight, when I cuaght the kerb whilst turning.......

it made a grinding sound but I thought it was just the wheels....

turned out I caught the sills and its gouged a bloody great chunk in it below the door.

I am just off out to see how much it will cost

that is four things this month

Bex's hair dryer - £30
The boiler - £300
the gas fire - ????
now the car - £700?

WTF next?

I am rapidly becoming a very poor man

I know the feeling mate. Had my car a few months then:-

1. The sump went in the enigne promplty leaking engine oil every where.

2. Connection rod in the gear box goes.

3. Clutch Packs up.

Costs=
Steam clean engine= £40
Sump=£80
New clutch and connection rod=£235

Im only 18 and hardly earning enough to cover this looks like im gonna be fairly poor this Christmas!

I am meant to be going tonight! I am a fast reader but not that fast. I think I may well have to pull out and do some research before. Thanks for advice B.A.G. You are not even slightly scary as seagull1066 would have it!!

p.s. Sorry for hijacking the thread DTG.
