I went out in Notts on saturdya after lincoln, went to 'rescue rooms' that was class indie-very mod night. Steer clear of the works unless you fancy a worse version of the event.
Cornerhouse has got some nice bars but a bit 'wanna-be-sex in the city types upstairs.
Wheres everyone off to? Hooters?

rescue rooms is next to 'templers'. Its up a bit back fromt he road. Supposedly yhe place to be in notts now...but one room was playing the most obsure music that everyone was pretending they new the words to so as to look cool, and loads of indie types who refused to smile.

Still, the other room was superb and had loads of attractive alternative types...including a lovely model off of the old tango advert who was prety funny and a imbruglia lookalike.

Aaaah Templars, an old haunt of mine. The Rescue Rooms must be new. Templars was the scene of a shooter that nearly killed me, red and blue aftershock and absinthe. Crumbies!

Rescue Rooms is next to templars but back form the road so if you came out of templars it would be up to your left.

Yep, know where you mean. I used to live about 5 minutes walk from there. Did you go anywhere in Notts beforehand?

Went to the 'slug and lettuce' then top floor bar in cornerhouse, bit japanes style etc, no draft beers. Got dragged in by the mrs. Two of my best mates live in notts so go there lal the time. Went to Varisty and horn in the hand as well and the social.
