Biggest thing for me today was oscar playing 442 not stubborn, but willing to learn, adjust, and it shows us he is still learning what the squad can do, when we get conway back, kemi gets some games and maybe orlandi fit were be scoring for fun.

I think people are forgetting what a fantastic second half of the season we had last year. We didn't start that brilliantly - dominating games without winning them, mainly because we lacked a goalscorer. The signing of a certain man from Argentina in January changed all that.

That might be true but, given that he's missed so much of the first half of the season, he might prove to be like a new signing in the second half of the season. And Orlandi coming back, Ince continuing to fluorish, Barnes consolidating, Crofts excelling, KLL improving, possible CMS return, ...

It's the same old story as last year, dropping silly points when we really should have won e.g. Hull on the first day

If that had been 1-0 to us rather than them, with all else being equal we'd have finished 2nd and be a Premier League team right now.

was it 4-4-2 or was it 4-3-3 with Barnes wide but joining up with Ulloa when the opportunity arose?
Too much is made of formations, things change as the game goes on

Probably more of the latter to be fair, but we went for win and got it. What I'm probably trying to say is he is a manager that's not scared, with subs, playing youngsters, etc playing players out of . i admit Bruno in midfield towards the start of season was bad, but not forgetting Ince at start of season was a CB.

Orlandi will never be fit enough for a run in the team, another Spanish sick note like Vincente which is how we signed him

Considering the injuries we've had and inconsistency, I think that's a damn good return, let's hope we can kick on from here, cliche I know.
