This is really difficult to read and sort out when the sort order is not based on season. Means the seasons are all over the place in each list, so have to stop and find them when comparing across categories.

That's not to say I'm anti potter btw but I just think there are some clear flaws where quite often we are leaving dangerous attacking CBs completely unmarked. Last night too many times Vestegaard was left solely on his own, or marked by March. Its a given he's 6ft 7 but we don't just seem to be able to completely drift through defences with Dan Burn, because most people seem to mark him out. There was a period where we were dire with set pieces under Hughton but solidified for a bit but then whole team went to pot in the second half of the season. The only team I can remember recently who committed to zonal and had this much of a bad time with set plays was towards the end of Wenger's reign at Arsenal. We are clearly not doing something right attacking set plays as well because we never win the first ball in the box.

Defensive set plays were a major weakness of Swansea City's last term.

Graham Potter's side conceded a staggering 24 times from set-pieces in the Championship, the most of any side in the division during the course of the 2018/29 season.

It's a problem.

It’s a results business & with all that money in the top flight - could BHA ‘afford’ to drop down to the Championship?

Not strengthening up front, relying on Connolly as a centre forward is not going to keep you up.
Sloppiness at the back too.
Difficult times. Who knows we could go to Leicester & nab a win?

Bit early to be on the Christmas Sherry me old mate

Well, I was ranking them, not listing them in chronological order. But, just for you...

But we weren’t very good at defending set pieces in the Premier League under Hughton either, everyone forgets that because it doesn’t suit their agenda.

Ryan and Dunk are the common denominators and maybe should be looked at more than the system or manager.

Interesting.

Thank you Swanny! My point proven exactly.

Some people forget this when they're busy criticising Potter and Webster whilst getting misty eyed thinking of Hughton on the touchline and Dunk/Duffy haphazardly throwing themselves at everything.

I also don't think it's a coincidence that Ryan was the goalkeeper then and now.
