Were they not hurled out of the FA Cup and fined?

AFCW were hurled out of the FA Trophy and had their prize money reclaimed, and a possible Wembley final for them.

so you can play a player (Jermaine Darlington) without the correct international clearance, win those 18 points, and have your penalty downgraded to just 3 points?
He played 11 games before the club before this was sorted out...not just a one off!
Sounds like a cop out as the Ryman League don't want to fall out with their "big" club.
Perhaps we could do the same?

You know something wanker? It's people like you that make me seriously reconsider my support for BHA and Falmer.

Thankfully I know decent BHA fans so my support for your club is still strong.

You however are a wanker.

Its all getting a bit personal.

Actually I do know the facts about Wimbledon, like everything there are two sides to a story, whilst I do feel sorry for the genuine fans, the thousands that couldnt be arsed with a 25 minute train ride are 'one' of the reasons the club bottomed out.

You can hardly blame the board for missing EIGHT oppertunities to make the payments to Merton Council for regaining Plough Lane when the revenue's they were getting from the 'so called' supporters were piss poor.

But hey, football fans expect owners to just plough money in regardless that the fans had left in droves.

There were many many factors in the debacle that is Wimbledon, and there is more than the one story that the AFC Anoraks trot out at any oppertunity.

But what's that got to do with the anhiliation of Wimbledon FC and its subsequent move to Milton Keynes?

Not returning to Plough Lane, and actively moving to somewhere where the fan base (understandably) was not prepared to go are two separate issues.

Its got everything to do with it, many many Wimbledon fans who dont follow AFC seem to be of the opinion that if the club had been supported when they went out of the Prem they would not have had to have been sold.

If you cant be arsed taking a 25 min journey to Shithurst to back your side then no wonder they went down the pan, if I owned it I would have done the same.

I know its easy to tow the NSC Fans United line, but there are other sides to this story that never get told.

On the subject of the MK Dons, it's interesting to note that their average attendance this season is 5,942 - that's the second-highest average in League Two, and is only fractionally smaller than Brighton's (5,974).

The MK Dons haven't died the death many predicted they would, have they?

This is rubbish - if my Sunday League team play an illegible player we lose any points, get a fine and he probably gets banned. That's the rules and it doesn't matter if its an admin cock up or a deliberate attempt to cheat. If there is leniency for admin cock ups it should apply doubly to pub teams as there is only one bloke trying to do all the paperwork who is likely to make the odd mistake every now and then. I am not complaining - last year we lost a point, this year we have gained 3. It's just the way it works. This is just one more example of one rule for the rich and fashionable clubs and another rule for those without a voice.

are they still top with the deduction then ?

I think they were 5th without the deduction, and they're still in that position. They were three points off the top, so it's now six.

I hope Atilla's got my £500 ready.....
