OK, I don't need any help taking the measurement, but the issue is that I have determined that my inside leg measurement is 32". The problem is that smart trousers all appear to be made in odd inches, so I can choose 31" which are approaching half-mast territory or 33" which start to approach baggy clown pants.

What is a guy who has an even leg measurement supposed to do?

On the plus side, it's easy to get 32" jeans...

Go large, get them tailored if needed.

Any idea how much would tailoring cost?

Depends. I think mine is about £15 for trousers. In all honesty it depends what they are for, how often you will use them etc.

For things like suits, I always get them tailored, as there is nothing worse than seeing someone with a off the shelf suit
