[NSC] adverts with sound

Just bought a new laptop and NSC's adverts are now coming with sound. Is this just me? I can turn the sound off, but it means I can't listen to synthipop as I vituperate on NSC, which is suboptimal.

Can you not just mute the ads

Right click the "Not Secure" bit next to the URL bar
Go to Site Settings
Sound - select Block

audio adverts are a curse on the internet and i wont go to sites that use them. not that i will see them, as invasive advertising drove me to using ad blocker. unfortunately NSC does seem to display these when not logged on, log in and the problem goes.

because it doesnt use https and Google decided the world must, even if just a simple web page or forum.

I've been getting them today for Visit Portugal, with rap music, #CantSkipPortugal

It's at the bottom of the page, and comes up every time I click on NSC (although I've just reported it to google, saying I've seen it multiple times, so I might not get it any more).

On the plus side, I have been able to narrow my holiday options by one.
